1 Man (Age Mid 20's) and 5 Men (Ages 40-55).
1 additional Female role (Age 60-65)
as Peggy, the corpse.
Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script. Scripts are available at the ALT Box Office for a $10 refundable deposit.
*Please note that the actress playing Bitsy Mae
should be able to sing and play the guitar, therefore,
a 60 second song with guitar will be required for the audition
of Bitsy Mae ONLY!
*Also, the role of Peggy is a nonspeaking role.

Roles are available for12-15 Men (age range 16 and up) and 12-15 Women (age range 16 and up)
Please note that there are leading and supporting roles available in all age ranges. A large singing, dancing ensemble will also be cast.
Auditions will consist of a prepared vocal selection not to exceed 60 seconds. An accompanist and CD player will be provided. Some auditionees will be asked to do cold readings from the script. Everyone will be required to do a short dance sequence with the choreographer.
Perusal scripts are available at the ALT Box Office with a refundable $10 deposit.
