Bonnie Forsberg
Dance Instructor

Bonnie was born and raised in Amarillo. Dance has been a major part of her life ever since she was little. A passion was lit in Bonnie when she saw the Nutcracker for the first time at the age of three and she has been dancing ever since. While in Amarillo, she studied with Neil and Camille Hess, as well as Lugene Cole and Elaine Fields. In addition, she has studied with Tulsa Ballet, Oklahoma University, and Ballet Oklahoma. Bonnie has also attended numerous summer institutes such as DaySpring in St. Louis, Interlochen in Michigan, Oklahoma Arts Institute, and Ballet Magnificat in Jackson, MS. A few of the renowned artists Bonnie has had the opportunity to train with across the US include Deanna McBrearty, Vladimir Stadnik, Melanie Nasser, Steve Rooks, Randall Flinn, Clara Cravey, Sandra Organ, Sol Nazero, Jock Soto, and Tauna Hunter. For the 2008-2009 dance season, Bonnie preformed across the Houston metropolis and the New England area with Ad Deum Dance Company as well as having the opportunity to perform on Times Square, NYC with Project Dance. Bonnie enjoys choreographing and sharing her knowledge of dance with others and is excited to be with ALT, encouraging in others a passion of dance and movement.
