Ballet:

Tap:
Enhances Rhythmic Dynamics, Speed and Agility.
Jazz:
Style incorporates grounded elements of various dance idioms, freedom of joint tension and a conscious connection to the space.
Jazz and Bee Bop:
A style of dance that incorporates street dance. It redefines and reinvents many early jazz dances and movements.
Lyrical Dance:
A fluid style of jazz dance blending movements from European classical ballet, American modern dance and Jazz movement. Choreographic expression to content and projection with lyrics of the music.
Contemporary Dance:
Much like Lyrical dance focuses on a broader spectrum of blending movements with intensive body alignment and technique combined with emotion and understanding of the Lyrics and Choreography.
Performance:
These dances are showcased in a recital at the end of the Spring Semester. It is recommended to attend fall semester to focus on learning the technique and the fundamentals of each style for the execution of routines for performance.
