Jason
Jason has been volunteering with AL T since 199 9 a nd is very excited to go into his third season as ALT’s Academy
Director. He recently graduated from WTAMU and earned a degree in Mass Communications with an emphasis in Advertising a nd Public Relations.
Jason has been an active member of the ALT Guild since 2004 and began teaching classes at the ALT Academy Dance Studio 4 years ago. Classes Jason instructs include Hip/Hop, Musical Theatre, and Jr. and Sr. Company acting classes.
Jason has also had the pleasure of choreographing in the area. Choreography credits include Disney’s High School Musical, Annie, Thoroughly Modern Mille and Sandie Review for Amarillo High School, ALT Academy productions You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown, Seussical the Musical, and The Music Man, and several local individual performances.
Jason has performed in over 30 productions at ALT and is most remembered for his ALTA award winning performances as Ritchie Valens in Buddy, The Buddy Holly Story and Cheche’ in Anna in the Tropics. Other favorite performances include Carmen Ghia in The Producers, Wolf/Cinderella’s Prince in Into the Woods, El Gallo in The Fantasticks, and Ceyx/Orpheus in Metamorphoses.
