Leigh Anne Crandall
Vocal Instructor
Leigh Anne is a returning instructor for the Academy after a long hiatus. She is a graduate of WTAMU with a BA in Musical Theatre. She has taught Musical Theatre voice as well as music directed the musicals Honk (2002 cast), Once Upon a Mattress and the several summer camps for the ALT Academy. During her time away from Amarillo she spent several years in Las Vegas working for Cirque du Soleil's wardrobe department and performing with No Boundaries Theatre Company, Nevada Conservatory Theatre, Nevada Theatre Company and working on several new plays from UNLV's Playwriting department. After two years in Chicago working in the Admissions field for The Chicago High School for the Arts and Roosevelt University's Chicago College of Performing Arts, Leigh Anne and her husband Stephen relocated to Amarillo. Since moving back to Amarillo, Leigh Anne was seen in ALT's Dirty Rotten Scoundrels as Muriel Eubanks. She is currently attending WTAMU working towards her Master's in Teaching. She is so excited to be back with the ALT Academy, her first theatre home!
