Tana Roberson ...
Scenic Designer/ Volunteer Coordinator
Tana has been with ALT since 2007 as the Scenic Designer/Volunteer Coordinator. She has had the privilege of working on more than 50 shows this far with ALT and looks forward to continuing to add to that number. Tana received her Bachelors in Theatre and Art from Oklahoma Baptist University, followed by her Masters in Theatre from the University of Georgia.
Tana enjoys each and every part of what she does to contribute to ALT, from the drawing board to the stage. It is always fun to see how each show progresses and the many faces that she will meet along the way. The 2012-2013 season brings changes for her all the way around from the drafting board to building. She is looking forward to all of them and can't wait see how many of the shows this season are received – they excite her like crazy! If asked what shows stand out to her at ALT, she would say Into the Woods, Urinetown and Light in the Piazza, but each show is its own show and holds a very special place in her world.
Tana and her husband Ryan are expecting their first child in October of 2012. They are excited to see how she changes their lives and the joy she will bring! They continue to love Amarillo more and more and are truly glad to call it home. They are also very blessed to be much closer to family allowing them more time to spend together. They are thrilled to be a part of the ALT family and enjoy watching it change and grow. They look forward to all that is to come.
